Does Medicare cover psychology sessions?
With a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, a Medicare rebate may be available for eligible sessions. Rebate amounts and eligibility depend on individual circumstances — we're happy to explain what applies to you on your intake call.
What happens at my first appointment?
We start with a free intake call to understand what's going on and answer any questions. From there, we match you with the right psychologist and book your first full session at a time that suits you.
Do you offer telehealth services?
Yes. Telehealth is available for clients across Australia, though many people prefer face-to-face sessions at our Surrey Hills or Coburg North clinics. We can talk through what suits you best on your intake call.
Do I need to be a patient at Doctors of Coburg North to book with you?
No. Insightful Living Co. operates independently within the medical centre, so you don't need to be a registered patient there to see one of our psychologists. If you're already seeing a GP on-site, moving between appointments is simple.
